The suspension seems to be coming along well, still need some new adjuster bolts and install the front wheels.

When is build day?

My day at the build started out at with a 180 mile murdercycle ride....
Perfect weather, not too much traffic either.

Paul,
there is nothing better than combining a little motorcycle ride with some snowmobile happenings.  '84 Goldwing... mmm, mmm, good.

I am sending the wheels out to Brian Lindner in Wi.  He is going to polish the plates and replace the bearings.  That will help out greatly.  Kevin Dreyer is going to help me remove some of this armour plating from the suspension and straighten and weld the rails to make them good as new.  I am still looking for the shocks, I will cross reference them and find something I am sure.

Greg, Merc diver has copied all of the photos that were on the DVD disc, I'm sure he would have a photo from that DVD that will show the exhaust.  I'll send him a message and see if he can email a photo to you.

$.02  If we can borrow a silencer from someone to get to sprocket along with our broken one then he can duplicate it right on.

Looking at the pictures I have, the strap was there, but I don't see the heat shield. It probably was left off after the original fiberglass pan was replaced.

engine is apart, but the crank needs work. so now we are waiting for bearings, and or a different crank, and gasket set.  don't know what else to tell you, have no time frame on how long on parts.
